Overview
The Motorola Network Updater Tool (CNUT) is a free-of-charge tool that applies packages to upgradethe following device types:

PMP 100 Series FSK APs and SMs

PMP 300 Series 802.16e APs and SMs

PMP 400 Series OFDM APs and SMs

PTP 100 and 200 Series FSK Ethernet Bridges

PTP 300, 400, 500, and 600 Series OFDM Ethernet Bridges

PLV Modem

PLV MDU Gateway

CMMmicro

CMM4, but not its integrated switchThese release notes communicate the differences between CNUT 3.12 and CNUT 3.20. Users mayupgrade to CNUT 3.20 from any previous release of CNUT except 1.0.CNUT 3.20.5 or 3.20.7 is required for operators whosenetworks include PMP 320 APs and SMs, CAP 110s, and/orradios operating on System Release 9.5.CNUT 3.20.7 is required for operators whose networks include5.7-GHz PMP 430 Series OFDM radios and/or radios operatingon System Release 10.1, or who need the features that wereintroduced in CNUT 3.20.5 but are operating their CNUTapplication on a Linux platform.With the release of 3.20.7, 3.20.5 is no longer available fordownload.

CNUT 3.20
does not
support Red Hat Linux v9 or Enterprise Linux v3, which are both out-of-dateaccording to Red Hat's own documentation. Although nothing direct prevents their usage, CNUT 3.20is not tested for use with these OSs, and customer support will not be able to provide support tocustomers who are using one of these out-of-date operating systems.Specifically, CNUT 3.20 supports
